On Tuesday the 5th of November, NHS England and NHS Improvement (NHSE/I) released a national strategy to create 18 radiology networks across England over the next four years
Although this is great news, our main question is do you think it will help sustain imaging within NHS hospitals? According to RCR the radiologist workforce alone is on course for a 31 per cent shortfall by 2023. Do you feel that the NHS should focus more on investing in radiology staff to combat hospital backlogs, delays and harm to patients?
